Coptic Journal Class is this Saturday

I have the privilege of teaching at Whimzy this Saturday.
The class teaches how to make Coptic Journals from vintage books.
I had someone ask me what do you use the journals for?
My response?
EVERYTHING!

There are so many different uses...

As a calendar in my purse

Place for quick painting ideas

and quick sketches along with inspiration pages
They also make great gifts, recipe books, wedding journals, scrapbooks...
and I should warn you--making these journals is HIGHLY addictive.

Saturday, June 18th 12-4pm Mixed Media Coptic Journal

$75.00

Learn to create beautiful coptic journals from start to finish using vintage bookcovers, papers, fabric, millinery and paint. Students will learn the basics of bookbinding, create their own covers using various mixed media layering techniques, and receive instructions so they can recreate journals at home.
All supplies included.
Hope you'll join us!

  1. Hi Jenelle! Thanks so much for your sweet compliments. I'm hoping to post the before and afters soon. I wish I had more time to blog more often but it's difficult trying to balance my home and family, work and my blog. I don't know how some women do it all! Anyway, congratulations on your class at Whimzy's! Praying you have a wonderful and creative day. Those books are so cute!
    Blessings to you,
    Missy
